ICI Bucharest, AGERPRES kick off new project in the field of technological research and development
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics ICI Bucharest and the AGERPRES National News Agency have laid the foundations of a new project in the field of technological research and development, a press release from ICI Bucharest, reads.
The core objective of the research project initiated by the two institutions aims at the exploration of the ways in which distributive blockchain technologies and crypto assets (NFT) can become essential tools for the distribution of news and information in the age of new technologies.
This approach aims to facilitate access to information for everyone, including those immersed in the digital space, the central focus being the young generation.
“We are delighted to collaborate with AGERPRES on this pioneering project that explores how blockchain and crypto asset (NFT) technologies can redefine the distribution of news and information in modern society. This new project reflects our shared commitment to innovation and cutting-edge research,” the managing director of ICI Bucharest, Adrian-Victor Vevera, said.
For her part, the managing director of AGERPRES, Claudia Victoria Nicolae emphasized that the partnership represents an extraordinary opportunity to bring the latest generation technologies to the media field.
“Together, we aspire to develop new and efficient ways of distributing news and information, especially for the young audience and for those digitally connected,” AGERPRES’s Nicolae said.
The research team will include experts in distributed technologies, blockchain, digital media and communication, thus bringing varied skills to address the challenges and opportunities of this innovative project, the source added.
