ZAGREB, 2 Sept (Hina) – This year’s wheat production is estimated at 840,000 tonnes, up 2.2% on the year, and the production of barley, oats and rapeseed has also gone up, according to a Croatian Bureau of Statistics report.
The report shows that 140,000 hectares of land has been sown with wheat, and 67,000 with barley, with an estimated production of 335,000В tonnes, up 15.5% on 2023.
Rapeseed production is estimated to have increased by 14% to 49,000 tonnes, and oats production by 35.3% to 46,000 tonnes.
The report shows that 17,000 hectares of land has been sown with rapeseed, and 16,000 hectares with oats.
