TIRANA, March 10 /ATA/ The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Igli Hasani, welcomed today in Tirana the Swedish Minister for European Affairs, Jessica Rosencrantz. 

During the meeting, both parties emphasized the cooperation and fruitful ties between Albania and Sweden, as well as underscored their joint commitment to safeguarding and strengthening democratic values, peace, and security in Europe. 

Minister Hasani took the opportunity to express gratitude on behalf of Albania to the Swedish authorities for their strong support and assistance over the years on Albania’s path to EU integration. 

“Sweden has always been an unwavering supporter of Albania in terms of institutional reforms, democratization, good governance, and technical assistance throughout our European journey,” he stated. 

In the meeting with the Swedish Minister for European Affairs, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani highlighted Albania’s commitment to completing the comprehensive and transformative reforms necessary to meet European standards on time, as well as its ongoing role in contributing to regional cooperation, stability, and cohesion.
