Greece named ‘Star Destination for Families’ at London awards

Greece was named “Best Destination for Families” at the Travel Bulletin Star Awards 2025, which were presented on October 27 in London. According to a statement by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Greece’s first-place win in the “ Star Destination for Families” category came after a vote by UK tourism professionals.

The Travel Bulletin Star Awards have been presented since 2000 and are considered a prestigious institution in the UK tourism industry. This year’s event coincided with the 50th anniversary of Travel Bulletin magazine, one of the most recognised professional publications in the industry. More than 30,000 travel agents vote annually for the top destinations, airlines, hotel chains, and other travel service providers, based on their experiences and collaborations over the previous year.

Greece was nominated in three categories: Star Destination for Families, Star Gastronomy Destination, and Star LGBTQ+-Friendly Destination. The award was received by the deputy head of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) in the United Kingdom and Ireland Angela Tzifa.
