Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis held a meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, earlier on Monday.

This was followed by a signing ceremony for the Seat Agreement between Greece and the UN Refugee Agency. The Agreement will regulate the operating status of the UNHCR office in Greece.

Subsequently, Gerapetritis, together with Grandi, will inaugurate an exhibition featuring archival material from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UNHCR titled: “The Beginnings of the Cooperation between Greece and the UN High Commission for Refugees: A Joint Exhibition of Archival Material from the Early Years of their Common Journey (1947-1963).”
