Podgorica, (MINA) – Twenty-nine detainees are on hunger strike at the Podgorica Remand Prison, the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) announced.

The UIKS said that the detainees participating in the hunger strike were being provided with comprehensive and continuous medical care.

“The medical staff continuously monitors their health status, with a special focus on their vital parameters”, the press release says.

The UIKS emphasized that all persons participating in the strike were under constant supervision, and that their current health condition was stable.
