Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis spoke on the phone with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib.
During the conversation, the next day in Syria and the ongoing regional unrest were discussed, according to the foreign ministry’s statement.

“The Greek minister stressed the importance of implementing UN Security Council resolutions and respecting International Law,” the statement said, adding that both agreed to keep the channels of communication between their governments on these issues open.
