FinMin Caciu: Romania ranked second in EU in terms of nominal value of Cohesion Policy funds absorption
Romania ranked second in the European Union in terms of the nominal value of European funds absorption for the 2014-2020 Cohesion Policy programmes, Minister of European Investment and Projects Adrian Caciu announced on Friday.
“At this moment, Romania has received over 23.112 billion euros of the amounts requested from the European Commission for the 2014-2020 financial year, reaching a percentage of 96%. Currently, statements of expenditure of about 600 million euros are submitted to the European Commission for reimbursement, and for March we expect to submit statements of expenditure of another 600 million euros,” the minister wrote on his Facebook page.
