Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Transport has announced that further implementation of ongoing projects, a focus on the identified issues in improving corporate governance, and support through technical expertise have been recognized as priorities in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Minister of Transport Maja Vukicevic organized a meeting with EBRD Director Remon Zakaria.

“The ongoing cooperation, where the EBRD is a partner on key strategic infrastructure projects, primarily the Bar-Boljare motorway, the reconstruction of the Golubovci-Bar railway, and the Tivat-Jaz boulevard, are part of ongoing projects with EBRD as our credible partner,” Vukicevic stated.

She expressed satisfaction with the fact that a financial institution like the EBRD continuously invested efforts and recognized the capacities of its strategic partner.

It was also announced that joint efforts would continue in the coming period to create a favourable environment to support the implementation of key projects.
