Cyprus submitted candidacy for OSCE Chairmanship in 2027, Spokesperson says

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, flies to Malta on Wednesday, to will participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), according to Government Spokesperson, Konstantinos Letymbiotis, who announced that the Republic of Cyprus has officially submitted its candidacy for the OSCE Chairmanship for 2027.

In a statement to the media after a Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace, Letymbiotis said that Kombos is leaving for Malta to participate in the OSCE Ministerial Council taking place on December 4-6 in the capital, Valletta.

“We also announce that the Republic of Cyprus has officially submitted its candidacy for the OSCE Chairmanship for the year 2027,” the Spokesperson added.

He noted that during his stay in Malta, the Foreign Minister will have a series of meetings with his counterparts.
