Customs revenue collections rise 5.2% in first two months 

TIRANA, March 10 /ATA/ – Albania’s customs administration collected a total of 33.6 billion lek in customs revenue in the first two months of 2025 or around 1.6 billion lek more than during the same period of the previous year. 

According to the General Directorate of Customs, the increase by 5.2% in customs revenues is attributed to good management and digitalization of customs service, combined with the increase in consumption of excise goods. 

Data from customs administration show that revenue from the excise goods contributed with 912 million lek more than in the first two months in 2024.
