ZAGREB, 11 July (Hina) – Croatia’s team consisting of four students participated in the 34th International Biology Olympiad in the United Arab Emirates and won a solver and a gold, the Croatian delegation reported, calling this “the biggest success of Croatia at Biology Olympiads so far.”
About 300 students from 79 countries participated in the Olympiad, which took place in Al Ain, from 2 to 11 July.
Secondary school student Lovro Mirković from Zagreb and student Vanda Vrček from Varaždin grabbed the silver and bronze respectively.
Croatia started participating in this contest in 2018.
