ZAGREB, 10 April (Hina) – Prime Minister Andrej Plenković on Wednesday submitted a report on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), and announced that the fourth installment, worth €162.5 million, under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) can be soon expected.
“We are now at a stage when the fourth installment, that is €162.5 million, can be expected, said Plenković.
Commenting on the implementation of the NRP, Plenković recalled that €10.5 billion was put at Croatia’s disposal under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
So far, €818 has been disbursed as the advance payment, and three more installments, each worth €700 million, have been also paid to Croatia which has met conditions for the disbursement.
Furthermore, the advance payment of €585 million has been sent to Croatia under the REPowerEU chapter.
On 15 April Croatia will forward the request for the payment of the fifth, €822 million installment under the RRF.
This means that Croatia has so far met all the criteria and tasks that is all the 157 requirements for that purpose.
After the fifth installment, other installments will mean higher amounts disbursed to Croatia.
The last, 10th installment is to be €881 million.
Croatia is the second most successful country in the EU in terms of the implementation of the NRRP, and only Italy is better, said Plenković .
One of criteria was the reform of the wage system in the state administration and public services, he said adding that upon the overhaul of the system, the wages in the public sector rose 32%.
