Cooperation with UNICEF key to improving care for mothers and babies

Podgorica, (MINA) – The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with UNICEF, is working to build a stronger and more efficient health care system that meets the needs of children, parents and the society as a whole, said minister Vojislav Simun. 

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, Simun met on Wednesday with UNICEF representatives to discuss key initiatives aimed at improving health care and support for families in Montenegro.

He emphasized the willingness of the Ministry to introduce modern therapeutic protocols for the treatment of pre-eclampsia, in line with international recommendations and protocols, to improve care for pregnant women and women in labor.

“By working together with UNICEF and other partners, we are building a stronger and more efficient health care system that meets the needs of children, parents and the society as a whole”, said Simun.
