The Albanian ship “Butrinti” conducted an exercise in the Aegean Sea with the NATO allied ships of the same group.

Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi shared photos from this exercise in the social media.

“The Albanian ship “Butrinti” on a mission in the Aegean Sea, in addition to the tasks to prevent illegal migration, also conducted an exercise with the allied ships of the same group”, wrote Peleshi.

The Albanian crew interacted with the German ship Oldenburg, the Greek HS Mykonos and the Turkish TCG Kumkale to develop cooperation during law enforcement operations at sea, Peleshi underlined./
