Feature and animation films from various countries, concerts and exhibitions will be presented at the 6th edition of Bucharest Best Comedy Film, the organizers inform.
The public will have the opportunity to watch, starting from Friday until October 6, a diverse selection of humorous and original film productions.
The theme of this edition is Comedy – Life’s Ultimate Sarcasm as an art form, to celebrate its significant contribution to the cinematic landscape.
“Love Again” (2023, USA), “The Final Race” (2023, Sweden), “Romeo e Giulietta” (2024, Italy), “2020” (2024, Romania), ” Dolphin Boy” (2022), “Combat Wombat 2” (2024, Australia), “Dublin Crust” (2023), “Farador” (2023, Canada), “Naale Rajaa Koli Majaa” (2024, India) and the recently released in cinemas “Ca fetele” (2024, Romania) are the films that could be watched during the event.
Adrian Paduraru, Andrei Duban, Andrei Zinca and Alexandru Petrovici are part of the festival jury that will decide the grand winner.
The start of the festival will be given on Friday, with the screening of the film “Love Again”, followed by Rasul în grup/Laughter in the group exhibition and video projection of a commented cartoon, signed by Costel Patrascan.
The festival programme also includes: on September 28 – Rancing Rain screening and Declaration of Love show with Adrian Paduraru; on September 29 – recital by Adrian Naidin and projection of Wonka; on October 1 – I’m Blind show with Horatiu Malaele, followed by the animated film Wish; on October 2 – Queen Tribute with Dan Helciug, followed by the screening of the film Bohemian Rhapsody; on October 3 – Pacifica concert followed by the romantic comedy No Hard Feelings.
The short films produced by Bucharest Best Comedy Film will be presented on the Cinemaraton and Prima Comedy channels during the Art of Comedy Actor Workshop, Film Music Workshop and Film Production Workshop.
