BiH supports the resolution of the UN General Assembly demanding immediate ceasefire in Gaza
Bosnia and Herzegovina voted for the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly demanding the immediate establishment of a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the unconditional release of all hostages, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on the platform X.
“Our country co-sponsored the Resolution!”, stated the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Three-quarters of the members, that is 153 countries, voted for the Resolution, 10 were against, and 23 abstained.
The United States and Israel were joined in opposing the resolution by eight countries — Austria, Czechia, Guatemala, Liberia, Micronesia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, and Paraguay.
