Bayraktar drones will soon begin to be used for emergencies

TIRANA, August 7/ATA/ After the successful test of night flights, the Bayraktar drones will soon begin to be used for monitoring 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as an important support means in the hands of the local authorities in their battle against the wildfires.

Defense Minister Pirro Vengu, accompanied by Air Force Commander, Brigadier General Ferdinand Dimo, inspected the Kuçova air base and the drone unit, which has already the qualified personnel.

This unit has already improved its skills through training for missions during the night.

UAV drones have been used for several days in joint operations with other forces in the fight against fires, for a more accurate identification of their location.

The Bayraktar drone images will be key to support the municipalities in the process of identifying the damage caused by the fires.
