ZAGREB, 19 April (Hina) – The average net pay in Croatia for February 2024 was €1,248, up 12.8% in nominal and 8.4% in real terms year on year, the national statistical office said on Friday.

The highest average net salary was paid in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations (€2,823), while the lowest was paid in the manufacture of wearing apparel (€837).

Month on month, the average net pay for February 2024 was up 0.7% in nominal and 0.5% in real terms.

The median net pay for February 2024 was €1,044 and 60% of persons in employment received wages up to €1,173.
