Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Compared with last year’s corresponding period, industrial production in Montenegro increased by 20 percent in the second quarter.
“Compared with last year’s second quarter, the mining and quarrying sector recorded an increase of 28.2 percent, manufacturing grew by 2.5 percent, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 95.4 percent,” Monstat stated in a press release.
In the second quarter, industrial production in Montenegro saw a decrease of 13.4 percent compared with the first quarter.
“Compared with Q1 2026, mining and quarrying declined by 1.8 percent, manufacturing sector increased by 28 percent, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply decreased by 52 percent,” Monstat said.
