ZAGREB, 10 May (Hina) – The average net monthly salary paid in Zagreb for February 2024 was €1,439, which is a nominal increase of 2.1% compared with January 2024 and of 11.4% compared with February 2023, according to the City Department for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning.

The highest average net monthly salary was paid out in the pharmaceutical industry (€3,228) and the lowest in the leather industry (€855).

The median net wage for February was €1,186, which means that half the workers earned more and half earned less than this amount.

Compared with the national average net monthly salary for February, which amounted to €1,248, the average net monthly salary paid in Zagreb was €191 higher.
