Albania has recorded a world champion on the first day of the world fitness and bodybuilding championship that is taking place in Santa Susanna, Barcelona, Spain on October 31 to November 6.

The athlete from Durrës Marjan Hoxhaj was declared world champion in Junior Men’s Physique OVERALL for U-20, said the Albanian National Olympic Committee.

The national fitness and bodybuilding team is led by the General Secretary of the Federation Rando Kukeli and this time Albania’s team has a record number of 14 athletes.

All the Albanian physical competitors, in the respective categories, are of high quality and aim for the next medal.

Albania also participated in the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) congress. The head of the federation praised Albania for the work done while also highlighting the cordial and constructive meeting with President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee Fidel Ylli
