After the victory over the Czech Republic in the “Air Albania” stadium with the score 3-0, Coach of the Albanian National Team Sylvinho said that now we are even closer to participating in the Euro 2024 championship which will be held in Germany. He said that the team has achieved a fantastic result, against Czechs that had not lost a single match in these qualifiers.

According to the standings of Group E qualifiers, the Red and Blacks are at the top with 13 points, Poland ranks second with 9 points, while the Czechs follow them with 8 points.

During the press conference at the end of the match last evening, Sylvinho said that teamwork leads to success, not the work of one person. “We are one”, added Sylvinho in Albanian.

“I don’t believe in a single person, but in the structure. I’m happy. We have taken an important step forward, but we are not in the European, yet. There are other matches to be played. So, let’s keep our feet on the ground,” said Sylvinho.

The Brazilian coach also thanked the fans.

“I thank everyone who came to the stadium. There were not 22 thousand, but there were more. As far as the match is concerned, Czech was a physically strong team, but we played an excellent match”, underlined the Brazilian coach.

In November, the Red and Blacks travel to Moldova on the 17th, while on November 20 we host the Faroe Islands.
