TIRANA, February 10 /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Anila Denaj held a meeting with the ambassador of Italy to our country Fabrizzio Bucci.
Denaj and Bucci talked about joint projects between Albania and Italy in the service of our farmers.
“Through the PROMAS project supported by the Italian government, we aim to improve the value chain for olive oil, from the certification of seedlings to the application of best agronomic practices, to improve the quality of production and productivity as well as the economic sustainability of the sector “, Minister Denaj said.
The minister said that they agreed to increase cooperation in the field of fishing, continuing the work for the launch of the joint “Blue Economy” project, for the construction of new fishing piers, the improvement of market conditions, hygiene and food safety.
