Albania has enhanced actions against trafficking in human beings

TIRANA, April 21 /ATA/ – Albania reports faster and more effective coordination and intense fight against trafficking in human beings.

The Deputy Minister of Interior Romina Kuko attended Conference of the Alliance against Trafficking in Persons in Vienna, Austria, to analyze the current prevention efforts and offer solutions to reshape approaches to prevention of this phenomenon.

This important conference also focused minors’ protection and efforts to protect children online.

More than 800 experts from the governments of OSCE member countries, civil society, business and academia, a more aggressive trajectory was agreed upon in the fight against the phenomenon.
