Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Airports of Montenegro (ACG) have served three million passengers for the first time ever.
ACG stated that 3 December has become one of the symbols of Montenegrin aviation.
“For the first time in history, three million passengers have passed through the gates of Podgorica and Tivat airports in a single year,” the company stated in a press release.
The airports reached this record on this morning’s flight of the national carrier, Air Montenegro, on the Belgrade – Podgorica route.
The three-millionth passenger, who was pleasantly surprised with a gift immediately upon landing by ACG’s Executive Director Roko Tolic, was Nebojsa Krog from Belgrade.
“He received as a gift three round-trip tickets on Air Montenegro’s Belgrade-Podgorica route and a three-night stay in the capital of Montenegro,” the press release reads.
Tolic congratulated all colleagues at Podgorica and Tivat airports on this historic achievement.
