The national airline carrier Air Montenegro opens the winter season by launching a new route and increasing the number of destinations more than double compared to last year.
According to a press release issued by the company, Air Montenegro will be flying to five destinations this winter: from Podgorica to Belgrade, Zurich, Istanbul, Ljubljana, and Rome, and from Tivat to Belgrade and Istanbul.
“For the first time, the company will be flying to Rome during the next year’s winter season. Specifically, Air Montenegro will introduce scheduled flights to Rome on 15 December, with operations taking place twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays,” stated the press release.
The airline will continue to operate scheduled flights from Podgorica to Ljubljana three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while flights to Zurich will take place twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays.
On Thursdays and Sundays, the company flies from Podgorica to Istanbul, while Air Montenegro flights from Tivat to Istanbul take place every day. Moreover, daily flights from Podgorica and Tivat to Belgrade will be operated at multiple time slots throughout this winter season,” stated the company.
