The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, commented on today’s presidential elections in the United States of America.

She said that Kosovo is blessed to have cross-partisan support in the US with both Democrats and Republicans.

Osmani underlined that the USA is a strategic ally of Kosovo and will continue to be so even after the presidential elections.

“Kosovo has been blessed with extraordinary American support of all parties. At the time when we gained freedom, the government was democrats. At the time when we achieved independence, Republicans were in government. Kosovo is blessed to have American cross-partisan support. It is the decision of the American people. We will continue cooperation with whoever is elected. It is important that the United States of America continues to be the leader of the free world and the most important strategic ally of Kosovo. It will continue like this even after this date”, she said.

Millions of Americans head to the polls today for the presidential election, while it is a tight race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

Today is the day of decision in America’s battle for the White House and control of Congress. Whereas, results may take days or weeks to count. However, the initial results in the hours after the close of voting may not be decisive.
