A total of 239 Bulgarian and 357 foreign students graduated from Sofia Medical University’s Faculty of Medicine on Tuesday. The graduation ceremony was held at the National Palace of Culture in the presence of Rector Boycho Landzhov, Faculty of Medicine Dean Dimitar Bulanov, and Innovation and Growth Minister Milena Stoycheva. President Rumen Radev sent a congratulatory address.

The foreign students come from 31 countries, most of them from Greece, the UK, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, and Turkiye. There are also graduates from Japan, Canada, Norway, India, Portugal, among other countries.
