ZAGREB, 12 Feb (Hina) – The 31st Boat Show and the Days of Hunting and Fishing will be held at the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre (ZV) on 14-18 February, ZV representatives said on Monday.

“The Boat Show is the biggest boat show in Croatia, the only one in the continental part of the country and one of the most visited events at the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre… It will be taking place concurrently with the Days of Hunting and Fishing fair, and the two events will bring together around 350 exhibitors from 37 countries,” Zagreb Trade Fair Centre director Renata Suša said, adding that more than 25,000 visitors were expected at the two events.

On display at the Boat Show will be 200 vessels, of which 22 will be presented for the first time in Croatia, including 19 Croatian premieres, one world and two European.

The 10-metre motor yacht Leidi 990 will have a world premiere at the show.

The event will also include conferences on navigation safety, the role of skippers, women in boating, etc.

Hrvoje Kukas of the Croatian Hunting Association and the Croatian Recreational Fishing Association said the hunting and fishing fair would bring together 48 exhibitors from seven countries, including, for the first time, traders in hunting and fishing weapons, ammunition and optics.

Expert panels to be held during this year’s fair will put focus on the prevention of wildlife vehicle collision, Kukas said.
