Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at the TWBM Empower Forum 2026 that women’s entrepreneurship in Montenegro is growing, but its full potential continues to be constrained by difficulties in accessing finance, administrative barriers and insufficient institutional coordination.
Support for women in business must therefore go beyond recognition and promotion, towards concrete mechanisms for growth, mentoring and turning business experience into new opportunities.
At the TWBM Empower Forum 2026, titled “From Visibility to Concrete Support for Women in Business,” data were presented on companies owned and managed by women, the obstacles they face, and opportunities to improve institutional and financial support.
The event also saw the presentation of the TWBM Mentorship Programme, which puts the experience of successful businesswomen to practical use by supporting the development of new entrepreneurial ventures.
The event marked five years of Top Women Business Montenegro (TWBM), an initiative that has raised the visibility of women in Montenegro’s economy by showcasing business achievements, presenting awards and connecting women entrepreneurs.
