Compared with the last year’s corresponding period, the value of construction works decreased by 11.8 percent in the second quarter, says Monstat.

“Compared with the first quarter, the value of construction works increased by 2.9 percent in this year’s second quarter,” the Statistical Office states in a press release.

In the second quarter, the number of effective hours spent on construction sites declined by 5.2 percent year on year.

Compared with the previous quarter, the number of effective hours increased by 0.1 percent in this period.
