US Embassy Wishes New Year, Lists Collaborations That Boosted Economy

Today, the Embassy of the United States of America in Pristina (US) wished the New Year 2026 with a message addressed to the citizens of Kosovo, friends and partners, highlighting the importance of cooperation and shared values ​​between the two friendly countries.

In its greeting, this embassy expressed the hope that the coming year will bring development, peace and progress for all.

“As we welcome the year 2026, we send our warmest wishes to all our friends and partners in Kosovo. We hope that the coming year will bring peace, prosperity and shared progress. Happy New Year from all of us at the US Embassy in Pristina,” reads the message published by the US Embassy in Kosovo.

Meanwhile, through a video message made by the staff of the US Embassy in Pristina, the close cooperation developed during the year that is closing was mentioned, especially in the field of economic development and strengthening the private sector in Kosovo. In this context, the role of American companies that have invested in Kosovo was also emphasized.

Micah Savidge, Chief of the Economic Unit at the US Embassy, ​​emphasized that these partnerships have directly contributed to the expansion of economic opportunities.

Meanwhile, Kevin Miles, Director for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, emphasized the progress achieved in the field of security, mentioning the cooperation with the relevant institutions of Kosovo.

Otherwise, the Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK), Ahmet Ismaili, announced on Monday that the Kosovo economy is expected to close the year with a growth of 3.9 percent.
