Twenty-five teams from 14 countries to run in Tour of Sibiu 2024 road cycling competition

This year’s edition of the Sibiu Cycling Tour brings together on Saturday, at the start, 25 teams from 14 countries that will cover a route of 674 kilometres, between July 6-9, with the presence of famous British professional road racing cyclist Chris Froome being a surprise.

Road cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of experienced cyclists with grand tour victories such as Sergio Higuita (Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe), Cesare Benedetti (BORA – hansgrohe), Niccolo Bonifazio, Mark Padun and Valerio Conti (Team Corratec – Vini Fantini), Andreas Leknessund (Uno-X Mobility), former European champion Giacomo Nizzolo (Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team), Jonathan Caicedo (Petrolike), Roger Kluge (Rad-Net Oßwald) and, the surprise of the edition – the British Chris Froome (Israel – Premier Tech), winner of the three Grand Tours – the Tour of France, the Tour of Italy and the Tour of Spain.
