Tolic: Airports have already handled three million passengers

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Airports of Montenegro (ACG) had handled three million passengers by Friday, the company’s Executive Director, Roko Tolic, announced.

“This news is particularly significant given that have reached this excellent result almost two and a half months earlier than last year, which was a record year, when we served three million passengers for the first time in the company’s history,” Tolic said.

He added that this is not merely a statistic, but a very clear indication that Montenegro is becoming increasingly accessible, that interest in the country is growing in key markets, and that good commercial results are being achieved in negotiations with aviation partners, making this level of connectivity possible.

Tolic added that three million passengers would no longer be considered a target in the future, but rather a starting point.

“I want to believe that this marks stronger growth for ACG, because such a high number of passengers will inevitably continue to increase in the near future. This points to the urgent need to make the infrastructure as adequate as possible so that passengers can have a better airport experience, because it is well known that the current level of comfort is not where it should be,” Tolic said.
