Albanian Nobel laureate Gonxhe Bojaxhiu – Mother Teresa was born on August 26, 1910 in Skopje. After living in Macedonia for eighteen years, she moved to Ireland and then to India, where she lived most of her life.

“I always have my Albanian people in my heart. I prayed a lot to God for peace to come in our hearts, in all our families, in the whole world. I pray a lot for my children – and for me and my sisters. I pray for you”, these are the words of Saint Mother Teresa that we remember on the anniversary of her birthday.
