SARAJEVO, June 5 (FENA) – The Sarajevo International Airport registered 151,152 passengers in May of this year, which is the busiest May in the Airport’s history, while in five months of this year, it served a total of 520,466 passengers, which is even 120,670 passengers more than last year.

The Airport performed 1,417 air operations in May (5,379 for five months), and also registered 247.3 tons of transported cargo (1.242 tons for five months).

In 2023, the Sarajevo Airport registered a total of 1,362,007 passengers, and considering the introduction of new destinations, it can be expected that at the end of this year, it will have significantly more passengers.

This summer, the Sarajevo International Airport will offer travel to more than 30 destinations in Europe and the world, with regular and charter airlines.
