The Government of Kosovo has allocated 520 thousand euros for the renovation of the roof and internal spaces of the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IFM) after two fires in this facility.
At today’s Government meeting, the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, said that the allocation of these funds comes after a request from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) which is related to the need to renew the roof and reconstruct the internal spaces in the IFM facility, after the fire and damage that occurred in that facility.
“From the Ministry of Justice, we have received a request for the allocation of budget funds in the amount of 520 thousand euros, and this request is related to the need for the renovation of the roof and the reconstruction of the internal spaces in the IFM facility, that is, after the fire and the damage that occurred in that facility. The funds from this point are taken from unforeseen expenses, the category of capital expenses and transferred to the Ministry of Justice, to the Institute of Forensic Medicine”, said Murati.
