The call for the subsidy measure for efficient business heating equipment has been launched, which will be open from today. Micro, small and medium enterprises can benefit from this measure, which is financed by the European Union. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated that this measure will directly affect the state budget.
At the launch of the subsidy measure for efficient heating equipment, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that this year a record amount is being invested in energy efficiency programs.
Kurti added that by investing in efficient heating equipment for micro, small and medium enterprises, the state budget will be saved.
He added that the energy sector is of strategic importance for the country’s economic development.
The head of the executive emphasized that in order to reduce the impact of the energy crisis, businesses and families have taken measures within the framework of the subsidy.
And, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli showed which efficient equipment will be subsidized within this measure.
She added that in this measure they also took into account the businesses that are owned by women, to help subsidize efficient energy equipment.
From the European Union Office in Kosovo, Alessandro Bianciardi said that they expect that by the end of next year, all the measures foreseen in the energy support package will be completed.
The deadline for applying for the first phase is until December 12. Meanwhile, the deadline for the second phase is until January 10.
