Today, smiling faces appeared on the children hospitalized in the pediatric ward, thanks to the climbers from the ‘Alpin Prishtina’ club, who were dressed up as the most beloved characters of the children.
It has now become a tradition for superheroes to visit the children, today marked the fifth edition of this event. The children, happy and excited, watched their heroes descend from the roof of the pediatric building at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK).
The low temperatures did not stop the little ones who came to see their superheroes up close. They were all running for a photo and a greeting. Even the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, didn’t hesitate to take a photo. The Director of the Pediatric Clinic, Violeta Grajcevci-Uka, expressed her happiness that, once again this year, the superheroes visited their ward just before the holidays. She hopes that this activity will continue for many years to come.
Valentina Pllana, who this year was dressed as ‘Ladybug,’ said that the children eagerly anticipate this activity. After coming down from the roof, the superheroes sent various gifts to the little ones who were watching from below. They also visited the hospitalized children in their rooms and send gifts to them as well.
