Through a memorandum of cooperation between the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOC) and that of Albania (ANOC), it is intended to unify joint sports events, such as championships and other national sports events between Kosovo and Albania.

The president of the Albanian Olympic Committee, Fidel Ylli, told KosovaPress that it will be the sport that will unite Kosovo and Albania, building strong bridges of cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, the president of the KOC, Ismet Krasniqi, has highly appreciated the way of cooperation between the two sports houses from Kosovo and Albania, saying that this cooperation will also extend between the sports federations of the two countries, to achieve good nationwide results in sports.

Ylli also stated that Kosovo and Albania will work to produce joint champions in sports competitions in the near future.

Kosovo and Albania have so far organized several joint sports competitions such as football, basketball, motorcycling and other competitions at tournament level.
