Soprano Maria Sardaryan, winner of “Marie Kraja” International Festival in Tirana

TIRANA, March 30 /ATA/- Maria Sardaryan, the soprano from Armenia, has been declared the winner of the 20th edition of the “Marie Kraja” International Festival, which was held for two consecutive nights, March 28 and 29, at the venues of the Opera and Ballet House in Tirana.

The second prize went to the Albanian soprano Juana Shtrepi and the third prize to the baritone from South Korea Seungwo Sun.

Italian soprano Clarisa Costanzo received the song award extended by the festival orchestra.

In this festival, there were 16 unique vocalists who were selected from 5 continents and competed in two disciplines, the aria competition and the song competition.

During this international event, there were also performed duets with Albanian music artists, such as Eneda Tarifa, Elhaida Dani, Kamela Islamaj, Venera Lumani, Lind Islami, Era Rusi, Kejsi Tola and Enxhi Nasufi.
