Sarajevo’s 100 Expo brings together over 250 exhibitors, with India as partner country

SARAJEVO, October 20 (FENA) – The second international 100 Expo business fair opened in Sarajevo today, bringing together more than 250 exhibitors from six countries, with India participating as the partner country.

The second edition of the fair features an expanded exhibition space for showcasing products, services and innovations, structured business-to-business (B2B) meetings, a conference program with expert presentations and panel discussions, and additional opportunities for local companies to connect with international partners, buyers and investors.

Emil Kučković, director of Poslovne novine, the publication organizing the fair, said that 100 Expo had been admitted to the membership of the Central European Trade Fair Alliance, making it the only organization from Bosnia and Herzegovina to belong to the alliance.

He added that, alongside India as the partner country, the fair features companies from Northern Cyprus, Germany, Türkiye and other countries in the region.

FBiH President Lidija Bradara expressed her pleasure at attending an event that connects the region and recognizes outstanding businesspeople.

She stressed the importance of discussing the challenges facing the region and its economy, expressing confidence that the day’s panel discussions would shed light on the challenges facing Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zdravko Marinković, president of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the institution was obliged to support initiatives with an international dimension, adding that the fair was precisely such an event.

He noted that regional cooperation had no alternative and that countries in the region must first strengthen, expand and deepen their cooperation to compete in other markets.

Sarajevo Mayor Samir Avdić emphasized the importance of the fair for the city and pledged support for future editions of the event.

Marina Rožić, vice president of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, and Mihailo Vesović, deputy president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the opportunity to be part of the event and highlighted the importance of regional cooperation.

As part of the event, awards will be presented this evening to the top-ranked companies on the 100 Greatest Companies lists for large, medium-sized and small businesses, based on revenue, exports, number of employees and profit. Awards will also be presented in the Best in Their Industry category, along with the Vision 100 awards.
