The Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) for shipbuilding adopted, on August 5, by written procedure, the Formal Opinion regarding the evaluation of our country, the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism announced on Wednesday on its Facebook page.
“The OECD Committee for Shipbuilding has adopted the Formal Opinion (Formal Opinion) regarding the evaluation of our country, thus confirming the alignment of national policies with the standards of one of the most relevant international organizations in the field. Romania’s evaluation within the OECD Shipbuilding Committee took place on April 9, in Paris. Following the very good performance of our country’s delegation and the hosting by MEAT, last fall, of a mission for this component, the Romanian side was informed, through official letters, of the decision to complete the process.
Later, on August 5, the Formal Opinion was adopted, through a written procedure, a document that attests to Romania’s positive assessment in this Committee and also marks the successful completion of this stage of the Roadmap to OECD membership.
