TIRANA, July 5 /ATA/ The National Opera and Ballet Theatre hosted the lyrical concert of the well-known Albanian soprano, Ermonela Jaho, last night, with the guest appearance of tenor Charles Castronovo.
Entitled “The return of the swallow”, Ermonela Jaho’s concert conveyed magic by bringing out strong emotions in the audience.
“One of those nights that will be engraved in the memory of each of us”, the NOBTH says in a post on social media.
The internationally renowned soprano has described this concert as a return to give back to this stage a little bit of the love and gratitude she has received from this country and every Albanian heart.
Waiting for the much-anticipated concert, people queued in a long line on the steps of NOBTH. This concert was sold out in record time. Meanwhile, the Municipality of Tirana made it possible for those who could not be inside the hall to watch it on a screen installed the external premises of NOBTH.
The program featured arias from the most popular world opera repertoire which were played by the virtuosos of the TKOB orchestra, under the baton of maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli.
