TIRANA, July 17/ATA/ At the Summer Cinema of the General Directorate of Archives there was played another film dedicated to the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War.
Last evening, it was the “Red poppies on walls”, directed by Dhimitër Anagnosti, produced in 1976, that was selected to be played. This is the third film restored by the Central State Film Archive that is played at the Summer Cinema, in context of the repertoire of selected films to be shown in the framework of the 80th Anniversary of Liberation.
Yesterday, it was Director of General Directorate of Archives Ardit Bido who extended an invitation to fans of Albanian cinematography to attend the coming screening in the summer cinema.
Bido said these films are especially relevant to young people for whom the Second World War is an event that happened a long time ago, 80 years ago.
This is a form of how the Archives narrates an important epic of the Albanian nation, such as the liberation of the homeland, with a series of films, an activity that will last until November.
