Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, Montenegro’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 4.3 percent in the last year’s fourth quarter.
The Statistical Office stated in a press release that the GDP had amounted to €1.75 billion in the fourth quarter, up from €1.59 billion in the corresponding period of 2022.
Along with Malta and Croatia, whose economies also grew at a rate of 4.3 percent, Montenegro is a leader in real GDP growth at the international level.
In the rest of the region, the economic growth stood at 3.8 percent in Serbia, 2.2 percent in Slovenia, and 0.9 percent in North Macedonia.
