Skopje, 13 May 2024 (MIA) – Miladinov Brothers City Library is marking Polish Literature Month with two literary events and a student exhibition.
According to organizers in a press release, on Monday at 7 pm, the library will host a conversation with Wojciech Jagielski, author of “All Lara’s Wars,” led by Lidija Tanushevska, with Macedonian translation from Polish.
The event will be preceded by an opening of a student exhibition organized by Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Art in Krakow.
On May 16, Polish children’s writer Roksana Jędrzejewska-Wróbel, the author of “The Moods of Hipolit Cable” will run a creative writing workshop at the library’s children’s books department.
The Polish authors are visiting the library as part of its “Poland on the Shelf” project supported by the Polish Embassy, organizers said.
