Over 40 sports&collection cars downtown Bucharest on Sunday, by Premium Rally Sofia and Ace Parade

More than 40 sports and collection cars will be able to be admired on Sunday, between 11:00 and 14:30, in the parking lot in front of the Romanian Athenaeum.

“From Varna, Bulgaria we come to Bucharest, on Friday, from 19:00. On Saturday we will go to the MotorPark Romania circuit, coming back, the same day, to the Capital City. An exhibition with cars such as Ferrari 296 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan EVO, Porsche 992 GT3 RS and Turbo S, AUDI R8, Rolls Royce Dawn Cabrio, Corvette Z06 and many others, to which the entrance is free, can be admired in the parking lot in front of the Romanian Athenaeum. The cars will leave for Sibiu, on Sunday, at 2:30 p.m. On Monday, we will go to Transfagarasan, after which we will go to Transbucegi and return to Sibiu,” Raoul Popescu, one of the organizers, said on Wednesday.

According to him, famous personalities will also be present among the drivers, with the Bulgarian star Maria among them.

Popescu specified that the event, a parade dedicated to motoring enthusiasts in Romania, resumed in the present days, in an extended edition, after the Ace Parade in 2014, will include special surprises and a lot of fun for visitors.

“We, Ace Parade, are coming back, after 10 years in Romania. The first event of this type was organized in 2014, after 10 years, together with our competitors from Bulgaria, Premium Rally Sofia, which organizes similar actions, we joined forces to create an exceptional event in which we bring cars from Europe and outside the continent,” Raoul Popescu also said.

In 2014, as part of the Ace Parade, the caravan left Bucharest for southwestern Ranca, on Transfagarasan, then reaching centre-western Cluj-Napoca, central Miercurea-Ciuc, Busteni, the final point of the expedition being eastern Speed Park Bacau. The event was attended by 23 teams, consisting of one or two people, who drove models such as Ferrari 599 GTB, Nissan Gtr R34 Nismo, Ford Mustang Cobra GT500, Ferrari 458 Challenge, Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS, Jaguar XJ LWB or Porsche 911 GTS .
