According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, Montenegro saw 54,470 tourist arrivals in collective accommodation in November, which resulted in 138,430 overnight stays.
“Of the total number of nights spent in the collective accommodation, foreign tourists accounted for 78.1 percent and domestic ones for 21.9 percent,” stated a press release issued by Monstat.
In November, 78.9 percent of the total number of nights were spent in the coastal region, 14.6 percent in the Capital City, 3.4 percent in other tourist destinations, and 3.1 percent the mountain regions.
Collective accommodation does not include the individual, so-called private accommodation in houses, rooms and apartments.
It includes hotels, resorts, inns, motels, holiday centres, hostels and camps.
